Her passion in helping others live their best and healthiest life motivates me to continue pursuing a leadership position in this industry. Throughout my time in the Health and Wellness industry, I've been able to help many people enhance the quality of their life both in and out of the gym. It is so fulfilling being in the position of assisting in someone's journey to a healthier life and knowing that you are helping them not only physically, but in a mental aspect as well by helping them rebuild their confidence.
During her time as a personal trainer, she acquired a client who was recovering from a medical condition that required him to have surgery to receive a coronary stent. When he came to her, he was almost seven weeks into his recovery from that procedure. He expressed his goals, explaining that he desired to regain muscle mass and rebuild his endurance. After an in-depth consultation regarding his medical history and receiving clearance for him to begin physical activity, she began the process of helping him achieve his goals. She worked with him three times a week for three and a half months. They performed fitness assessments bi-weekly to keep track of his progress. Over the course of three and a half months in my program, he was able to build up his endurance and increase from only being able to do five minutes of cardio to a total of 40 minutes of cardio. Meghan saw him making changes weekly as he began increasing his weights during lifting sessions and his time spent doing cardio. Throughout his time with me, he gained a total of fifteen pounds in muscle mass and was able to decrease his body fat percentage by 11%. She was able to witness both physical and mental changes within him. He became much more confident and was eager to continue making progress on his journey to a healthier mind and body. It was so rewarding being part of his health transformation and to witness how it positively impacted his life in many aspects. My client was a true testament to why she loves being in this industry and aspire to pursue a lifelong career in it.
Meghan enjoys being in the gym during her free time. It's a way for her to escape any stresses she may be experiencing, and it allows her the opportunity to unwind. She believes that everyone deserves to live a healthy life inside and out and would love to continue helping others achieve internal and external health.
