Fitness Expert

Richelle.jpeg

Richelle obtained her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in Health from the University of Texas at Austin with a medical fitness and rehabilitation specialization. She is currently a master student at Texas A&M University Corpus Christi to pursue a Master of Science in Sport and Exercise Science. She is a Certified Personal Trainer by the American Council of Exercise (ACE) and is CPR/AED certified.

Her passion to become a leader in the fitness industry came from her personal struggle of losing weight and a family history of diabetes, joint and mobility issues, and other cardiovascular and metabolic conditions. She wants to make a difference in fighting the plague of society’s health problems with the solution of exercise and nutrition. As someone who has struggled with weight and nutrition problems, she wants to help others turn their life around by starting their fitness journeys to create a better quality of life, pain-free and medication-free.

Richelle’s first client was a 80 year old female who frequently ran marathons and had a history of osteopenia and knee injuries who had a goal of becoming stronger, more functional and active through her daily activities. Over 3 months, she was able to train without knee braces with no pain, and able to lunge and squat with added weights!

Richelle’s hobbies include going to the gym, watching sports, studying new research on exercise, and spending time with family. She is continuing her education at TAMUCC to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and also specialize in functional fitness, women’s fitness, and nutrition coaching.
