Passion for Leadership in the Fitness Industry
Marin's philosophy is simple: "We move our bodies like this, because not everyone has the opportunity to." She knows what it feels like to be trapped inside your own body. That experience drives everything she does as a trainer. She wants to help others take back a piece of themselves, whatever that means to them.
Before finding her path in personal training, Marin taught Pilates at Texas A&M University Corpus Christi for two years. Pilates taught her the power of intentional movement, how proper alignment and small deliberate patterns build the mind to muscle connection. She loved teaching group classes, but she wanted to go deeper. That is why she pursued personal training and nutrition coaching. She wanted one on one connection. She wanted to sit with a client and teach them to learn their own body, to build a body that can carry them through the rest of their lives.
Dramatic Impact on One's Health
Her biggest success story is her own. Marin's journey to becoming a trainer did not start in a gym. It started in a hospital bed. She suffered from an eating disorder from 2019 until her first successful recovery at the end of 2024. At the height of her anorexia, there were days at a time where she could not get out of bed without feeling like she was going to pass out. She was constantly sick due to an impacted immune system with a body that was frail and weak.
In 2024, she began the long road of recovery through nutrition therapy and proper resistance training. She hit her milestone of recovery and has built a body that can carry her through her life. She got her life back, and not only that, she was able to shift her knowledge into a healthy passion. Today, she is the strongest she has ever been and the most fulfilled she has ever felt.
That experience drives everything she does as a trainer. She knows what it feels like to be trapped inside your own body. She wants to help others take back a piece of themselves, whatever that means to them. This journey has given her the perspective to
guide others in proper fueling of the body and the body's movement. She is here for your story too.
Hobbies and Future Goals
In her free time, Marin enjoys hiking, fishing, swimming, pilates, working out, traveling, and anything nerdy.
Marin is currently pursuing her master's in nutrition with the goal of becoming a Registered Dietitian. She plans to earn her Doctorate in Exercise Physiology in the future.
