How to Introduce Exercise to Your Weekly Schedule

We all know that maintaining a healthy life style can be hard when life gets in the way. There are many reasons why its hard to stay consistent but the most popular reason is WORK. Work, in particular always gets in the way of working out and eating healthy. But, it doesn't have to, not anymore.

Here are a few ways to stay fit despite a demanding job.

First, pick a workout program that you can do anywhere, whether you are at home, stuck at the office until late, or even if you are traveling. You don’t always need a gym or a lot of time to squeeze a workout in. You only need your body.

Second, try and stay active throughout the day. If you have a sedentary job try to walk at least 5 minutes for every 30 minutes that you are sitting down. Your goal should be trying to get to 10,000 steps a day, but start out with baby steps before challenging yourself.

Third, make a schedule and commit to it. One of the most used reasons to skip a workout or a meal is because “I am too busy” or “I do not have time because of work”. The truth is that when you really want to do something you will make the time to do it. So, make a schedule and prioritize yourself.

We challenge you to start adding some activity into your weekly schedule, you don’t need an hour, or 30 minutes to get a good workout. You can start out with 5 minutes, it’s that simple.
