Brownies without all the guilt


Chocolate Avocado brownies with avocado frosting. May not sound too appealing but they are delicious and definitely help with that sweet tooth craving!

Ingredients for the Brownie:

1 large mashed avocado

1/3 cup of unsweetened apple sauce

1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips

1tsp of vanilla extract

1 whole egg

3/4 cup coconut flour

1/2 cup sugar free maple syrup

½ tsp baking powder

¾ Cup unsweetened cocoa powder

Ingredients for the frosting:

One medium sized avocado

3 Tbsp sugar free maple syrup

3 tbs of unsweetened cocoa powder

Directions:

Brownies: In one bowl mix the coconut flour, baking powder and cocoa powder together. In a separate bowl mix the rest of the ingredients together (except the chocolate chips). After that mix the bowl with coconut flour to the bowl with the avocado in it until smooth. Then add the chocolate chips to the mixture. Pour evenly onto pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes at 400 degrees.

Frosting: Blend all the ingredients together and then evenly spread out on each brownie after they cool down.
